Jona's Garden, 20 x 30, oil on canvas
Occasionally I'm commissioned to paint a backyard. This painting
required several trips to Point Breeze to determine the exact timing of
the sweet evening light. It is titled Jona's Garden. Notice BB the cat
in the shadows to the lower left.
First time visitor, although I've meant to stop by several times (when I saw your ads in City Paper and the like). I'm so glad I finally made the time—your work is beautiful and makes even the mundane aesthetically pleasing. I'll be back for sure.
Full time artist living in Pittsburgh, PA. I've been a gravedigger, chicken catcher, landscaper, graphic designer, museum art installer, college instructor, and now, finally, I'm painting everyday, which is what I've been trying to do all along.

ReplyDeleteThat's just lovely! What a fun thing to have a painting of your own backyard, to always remember it when winter comes and changes the scenery.
